Blanket fabric
1. Polyester: It is an important product in synthetic fibers and it is the trade name of China's polyester fiber.
Polyester performance:
1. Polyester fabrics have high strength and elastic recovery. Therefore, it is durable, anti-wrinkle and non-ironing.
2. Polyester fabrics are poor in hygroscopicity and have a hot and sultry appearance. They are also prone to static electricity and dirt, affecting the appearance and comfort. However, it is extremely easy to dry after washing, and the wet strength is hardly decreased, no deformation, and good washing and wearability.
3. Polyester is the best heat-resistant fabric in synthetic fabrics. It has thermoplastic properties and can be made into pleated skirts with long lasting pleats. At the same time, polyester fabrics have poor resistance to melting, and holes are easily formed in the presence of soot and Mars. Therefore, you should try to avoid contact with cigarette butts and sparks while wearing them.
4. The lightfastness of polyester fabrics is good. Except for being inferior to acrylic, its light resistance is superior to that of natural fabrics. In particular, the light resistance behind the glass is very good, almost comparable to acrylic.
5. Polyester fabrics are resistant to various chemicals. Acids and alkalis have little damage to them, and they are not afraid of mold and insects.
Second, acrylic
Acrylic (bulky and fast): is the trade name of polyacrylonitrile fiber in our country. Acrylic has excellent properties, and its properties are close to wool, so it is called "synthetic wool."
Acrylic properties and uses:
Elasticity: Its elasticity is better than polyester, about 2 times higher than nylon. Better shape retention.
Strength: Although the strength of acrylic is not as good as polyester and nylon, it is 1 to 2.5 times higher than wool.
Heat resistance: The fiber softening temperature is 190 ~ 230C, second only to polyester in synthetic fibers.
Lightfastness: The lightfastness of acrylic is the best open-air exposure in all synthetic fibers for a year, and its strength is only reduced by 20%.
Third, nylon:
Nylon is the Chinese name for synthetic nylon, and its translation name is also called "nylon" and "nylon."
performance:
1 strong, good wear resistance, ranking first in all fibers. Its abrasion resistance is 10 times that of cotton fibers, 10 times that of dry viscose fibers and 140 times that of wet fibers. Therefore, its durability is excellent.
The elasticity and elastic recovery of nylon fabrics are excellent, but they are easily deformed under small external forces. Therefore, the fabrics tend to become wrinkled during wear.
2. Poor ventilation and easy to generate static electricity.
3. The hygroscopicity of nylon fabrics is a better variety in synthetic fabrics, so garments made of nylon are more comfortable to wear than polyester garments.
4. Has good resistance to corrosion and corrosion.
5 heat and light resistance are not good enough, ironing temperature should be controlled below 140 °C. During use, care must be taken to wash and maintain the condition so as not to damage the fabric.
6. Nylon fabric is a light-weight fabric. It is listed in the synthetic fiber fabric only after the polypropylene and acrylic fabric. Therefore, it is suitable for making mountaineering clothing and winter clothing.
Fourth, spandex:
Spandex is a trade name of polyurethane elastic fiber in China.
Spandex's main performance:
1. Morphology The cross section of the polyester elastic fiber is in the form of broad bean, and the cross section of the polyether elastic fiber is triangular.
2. Extensibility and Elasticity The spandex strength is very low, and the breaking strength of its filaments is about 4-9 cN/tex, but the elongation of the spandex is large, the elongation at break reaches 450%-800%, and the elasticity is very good. Therefore, high elongation and high elasticity are the most important characteristics of spandex.
3. Hygroscopicity and dyeability Spandex is poor in hygroscopicity, and the moisture regain is about 0.8% to 1% under normal atmospheric conditions. However, its dyeing performance is better.
4. Other properties Spandex density is better, only 1 ~ 1.3g/cm3. In addition, spandex's acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, light resistance, and abrasion resistance are all better.
V. Vinyl:
Vinylon is a trade name for polyvinyl acetal fiber, also known as vinylon. Its performance is close to that of cotton, which is called "synthetic cotton" and is the most hygroscopic type in the existing synthetic fiber.
Features and uses:
Hygroscopicity: Vinylon is the most hygroscopic type of synthetic fiber, with a moisture absorption rate of 4.5% to 5%, close to that of cotton (8%). The vinylon textile cloth is comfortable and suitable for making underwear.
Strength: Vinylon is slightly stronger than cotton and is much higher than wool.
Corrosion resistance and light resistance: Insoluble in general organic acids, alcohols, esters, and petroleum lamp solvents, it is not susceptible to mildew and has little loss of sun exposure.
Disadvantages: hot water is not good enough, poor elasticity, poor dyeing.
Vinylon is soft and warm, and its relative density is lower than that of cotton. Therefore, vinylon with the same weight as cotton can woven more cloth.
The characteristics of plush fabrics are as follows:
First, the appearance of light and clean, with a good amount of permeability and drape;
Second, soft texture, light and transparent, feel smooth and flexible;
Third, wearing a very comfortable on the body, very elegant;
Fourth, after high-temperature shrinkage treatment, not easy to deform and wrinkle;
Fifth, physical properties, high fiber strength, wear resistance, durable wear;
Six, good chemical properties, alkali resistance, chemical resistance, insect resistance, anti-fungal.
